Forklift Truck Training Manchester and the Hunza Tribe
Forklift Truck Training Manchester and the Hunza Tribe.
After a long day of Forklift Truck training Manchester bound I want to share with you a story about a remarkable race of people I have just read about.
The ‘Hunzas’ have been untouched by modern man up to the 1920’s when they were first discovered. They exist in harmony with nature and enjoy perfect health.
The Hunzas live in a mountain region between Afghanistan and India, which is hard to reach.
Such was the interest in this tribe that British doctor, Sir Robert Mc Garrison decided to go there and make the dangerous journey. He wanted to study their health and lifestyle.
Could any lessons be learned in the fight against disease?
Sir Robert said that the Hunzas were the finest specimen of health imaginable. He said disease was unknown and that he never saw one case of major illness in all the time he was there. They lived, on average, to 140 years old. He also said their youth and energy was maintained well beyond old age.
Their lifestyle is a simple one. They work on the land ten hours a day and sleep eight hours. They pray and are
very happy and relaxed. The air they breathe is crisp and fresh, the water pure and their food natural and simple.
Their diet does not contain animal food. They eat raw play casino fruits, raw veg, nuts, seeds and cereal grains from which they make their own flour and bread. The only other food they have is goat’s milk on rare occasions.
For several months of the year food is very sparse. This helps them to rid their body of toxins.
Experiments have been set up where rats were used. The rats were split into two groups. One group was fed a Hunza diet and thrived, living to 120 in human terms. The other group was fed a diet of white bread, butter and meat. These animals developed cancer and heart disease at an early age. They also aged faster and were violent. When this group was switched to the Hunza diet their health was regained.
I did have a white teacake, filled with bacon and egg, to eat after the Forklift Truck training in Manchester.
I’ll start the healthy eating plan tomorrow!!
